Everyday Hair Routine from Jenn
Hi guys! Just thought I'd share my everyday hair routine :) I shower at night!
My hair's normal. Not dry but not oily either. My hair is also a normal / medium / thick thickness. It is not thin or fine.
In Boston I use: Pantene Pro-V Smooth Vitality Shampoo and Conditioner.
At home I've been using Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
After drying my hair with a towel, while it's still a bit damp, I work Biosilk Silk Therapy through the tips/ends of my hair.
Hope you guys enjoyed this video!

- Ah! Sorry guys, this is where my camera stopped filming and we both didn't notice so we presumed to prattle on when it wasn't even recording. Hayon gives out presents to her family before Christmas so that they can start using them right away. I haven't done gifts with my family in ages but when we did, we usually did gifts on Christmas morning.
- Hayon hasn't, but I (Jenn) have. Hayon was saying how she's going to try and get one after Christmas is over 'cause they go on clearance. I've only made a gingerbread house once and that's exactly what I did. Keep Christmas goin' for as long as you can!
- Hayon said get a chance to do nothing and get some work done on crafts. I love love looove the food. Nothing beats mama's home cooked meals :)
- I honestly don't remember what I said. Probably about something having a good break or something. Hayon said that she wishes for more subscribers and readers to both our youtube channel and blog! (A great wish, no?)
- Hayon said pumpkin (for me, that's a fall/halloween/thanksgiving scent), I said that peppermint has to be my favorite. Peppermint everything!!
- This was a no-brainer. Peppermint Bark, of course!

Recipe of the week! - Roasted Curry Cauliflower
Hey guys,
I'm going to start uploading recipes that I've tried and want to share! It is going to be very unprofessional and loosely done. lol so bear with me.
Recently, I had to bring a dish to a potluck at work. I wanted to cook something that would be okay to eat hot or cold since I wasn't sure if I would be able to heat it up. Also, something that would look fine in a plastic container was preferred.
For my anniversary with the boy, we went to Hatfields, a restaurant in LA that was quite amazing but rather pricey. One of the dishes that came out was curried cauliflower. I really really liked it and wanted to make something like that.
So all you need are:
1 or 2 bundles(?) of cauliflower - cut into pieces like in the pic above
curry powder - enough to cover most of the cauliflower pieces - more the better I found out.
garlic salt - to taste
and any kind of spices of preference - I had Costco's non salted spices that I just generously sprinkled. Fennel seeds, oregano, rosemary, etc could all be delicious!
any kind of oil - enough to be spread all over the cookie sheet
sliced almonds - just enough. you can skip this if you don't like nuts or are allergic.
Preheat oven to 400 F. Oil the pan. just basically combine all the ingredients together on the pan to avoid washing additional dishes. and pop the pan in the oven and cook for 30 minutes or until the cauliflower looks roasted, NOT BLACKENED.
and you are DONE!
Enjoy!

Deborah Lippmann - Bad Romance: disappointing.. :(
So I gave in to my weakness and bought a nail polish.
I've always wanted to try a deborah lippmann nail polish - especially Bad Romance.
It's so pretty in the bottle. Black base polish with chunky pink glitters.
I've tried it in store before, but only a coat at most. I always thought it would be more glittery when I put on more coats and become chunkier in glitter.
So, when I tried it on after the purchase and the result was not as glittery as I wanted, I was disappointed.
I wanted the glitter to seem more patchy? and not so separated.
And another annoying thing was that after a different coat, glitters tend to get covered.
Also, the surface wasn't as smooth as I would expect from a 16 dollar nail polish.
After a day or two, it started chipping.
It is all very upsetting. But in the end, I do like it to a certain extent. I have never seen a nail polish like this one. I just wish it were... better!
But, from this overall disappointing result, I just would never purchase another deborah lippmann polish.

one night stand (for your hand)
So a while back, I got this from Marc by Marc Jacobs along with a purchase I made at the store. When I got it, I didn't think I'd ever use it, but today, I was bored and thought, "why not?"
What do you think?
I rather like 'em, but they're supposed to last only for a day or two. I hope they last a little longer than that!
You can find their website here. It's also sold at Sephora which you can find here. At $15, they're pretty expensive and it's unlikely I'll buy 'em, but if I had the money, I'd definitely get them.

Did you guys remember to make a wish?
If not, you can still make a wish tonight at 11:11(:11) PM.
But some can technical and say that according to military time, tonight will be 23:11 not 11:11. But that's all up to your own interpretation/preference.
Happy Veteran's / Peppero Day as well!

ONE minute review - Eos Lip Balms!
We are going to try and do one minute reviews of products, movies, foods, etc. Just whatever happens to be floating (or sinking ha.ha.) our boats these days. I thought it would be perfect to start off with eos Lip Balms since I've gone on crazy mode and have started to buy these like they're going to be discontinued. [Well, some are limited edition after all]
Here's a recap:
- Strawberry Sorbet - fruity! like pink? like strawberries? then this is the one for you!
- Lemon Drop (w/ SPF 15) - obsessed with sun care? like lemons or lemonade? this is the one for you! ** this one does smell a bit waxier than the others because of the spf. it also seems to not go on as easily, but once on your lips, they feel the same as the others.
- Sweet Mint - minty! like baby blue? like tingly lip balms? this is the one for you!
- Honeysuckle Honeydew - I know this one wasn't in the video, but that's cause I finished it and threw it away :( I think this had to be my top 'cause I love the smell of melons! Melony and in a beautiful minty green case.
OH MAN the pastel-y colors are sooo purty! must.get.medicated.tangerine. Hayon had the summer fruit one and preferred the Honeydew one so perhaps one day, I'll try it, but for now, I'm going to try the tangerine one first!
Hope you guys like the one minute reviews! Definitely more to come so stay tuned!

Sephora Friends & Family Sale Haul
Sephora got me with their friends & family sale this year. I had been waiting to buy these products but I didn't need need them so I kinda put 'em on the back burner for a bit. But as soon as I found out I would be able to get 20% of my entire purchase, I decided, why not buy 'em all? muahahaha!
So here are the things I bought:
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Murad Acne Treatment Concealer - Light
- Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream
- All-Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray
- pureDKNY scent spray - 1 oz.
from Sephora's online store:
pureDKNY
Look good. Feel good. Do good. This pure new scent adds a drop of vanilla to a world that needs a moment of calm. More than a fragrance, it embraces a way of being that takes time out for the simple things, the things closest to the heart: love, joy, comfort, relationships, and community. The fragrance's top notes soar of the pure scent of vanilla. Accords of dewdrop petal, lotus flower, and Bulgarian rose harmonize with a floral heart of jasmine, freesia and lush orchid. It finishes in a cradle of warmth: white amber, creamy sandalwood.
The vanilla used in this fragrance is grown sustainably in Uganda. pureDKNY also supports CARE, an international development organization, in a specific microfinance project that will reach 900 Ugandan vanilla farmers, many of whom are women.
The bottle, organic in shape and inspired by a drop of water, appears to be formed by nature. The materials include 100% recyclable glass and a cap of high-purity aluminum. Its compostable box is made of sustainably harvested paper manufactured in a mill that uses 100% renewable energy.
Notes:
Vanilla, Dew-Drop Petal, Lotus Flower, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Freesia, Lush Orchid, White Amber, Creamy Sandalwood.
Style:
Simple. Calm. Authentic.

This fragrance's verbena calls to mind sparkling citrus and crisp green basil— a naturally derived ingredient sourced from Africa. The scent's overall character is fresh and bright. A light mix of floral notes, including honeysuckle, peony, jasmine petals, is balanced with a finish of white amber, sea moss, and vetiver.

Tom Ford Lipstick Update
So, I caved in and bought another Tom Ford lipstick. Well, my mom bought it for me. So nice of her (: This time, I bought True Coral. It is so nice. The packaging as you can see is black now, whereas before, it was white.

In the picture it looks red, but in person it's more coral than red. But, regardless, it is pretty bright and pigmented. The only downside is that if you mess up, it is impossible to get the color off your skin. So you have to conceal it.
My pink and coral lipsticks. I really liked the white packaging.
Lids switched. (:

Product Review: Josie Maran Argan Oil
With the points I amassed from the endless purchase of things that I really "need," I spent 500 points to get the Josie Maran Argan Oil sample.
I've heard good reviews about these products, so I was excited to try them out on my own.
A part of me was hesitant to put oil on my face. For as long as I can remember, my skin's been oily and troublesome. However, since I passed my puberty awkward phase, my skin became more sensitive and dry. At least I don't have to worry about pimples as much now. And to risk that and put OIL that could easily cause breakouts ON MY SKIN???!! But, I figured, its a free product with great reviews.
The set came with three bottles. Not very big, but from what I've learned, it'll last me at least a month or two. There was the Argan Oil for face, and hair and Argan oil cleanser.
Unfortunately, the set didn't come with much instruction. But, I made do.
Argan oil for face: has the consistency of any vegetable oil haha. I usually put like 3-4 drops of it with the dropper and rub it with my palms and onto my face. it does feel a bit oily initially, but it's not too bad especially since you are supposed to use it as a night-time moisturizer, as it says briefly on the bottle. It is recommended for hair too. no smell. not much color. And you sleep with it on and wake up to find incredibly moisturized skin. not oily. I have not had any breakouts from it. I overall love the product and will purchase again!
Argan oil for hair: the consistency is way thicker than the moisturizer. Also, the bottle is smaller, but since you don't use a lot, it doesn't matter. Especially with my thin hair, I REALLY need a tiny drop. Honestly, I am not in love with this product. It does make my hair shiny, but I could definitely live without it. no smell -- I've heard that Moroccan oil does have a distinct scent to it that some disliked. no color.
Argan oil cleanser: it's the first time using oil cleanser. I'm still actually confused about what to do with it. I get a dollop of the cleanser and put it on my face to rub away the makeup. and I wipe it with tissues. But I just feel gross with it and I just wash my face again with Philosophy Purity cleanser. It does the job of wiping away my eyeliner and what nots. Maybe i'll just use it as eye makeup cleanser. But one thing that stands out is the lovely smell of the cleanser. It's kinda citrusy? mandarin orange blossom scent. Very pleasant. And another positive from this cleanser is that I want to try other oil based cleansers! I don't know if i'd purchase this again though.
This set also came with a lipgloss and a mascara. Lipgloss is pretty good, except the brush was hardened almost to the hardness of plastic which made me confused at first since it hurt to apply. Then it loosened up with some force. I'm not a huge lipgloss person, so I was ehhh about it. However, it smells like caramel which is pleasant. this product is pretty sticky, but all glosses are soo... And the mascara didn't really impress me all that much.
